Club Crest

In thinking of a design for our Newfoundland Club logo I thought of : a circle of friends coming together in the spirit of our Newfoundland tradition and heritage, thus, the Circle.

Our lives have brought us from the very East of our Country, to the very West, and also from Island to Island, (for most of us) therefore, "Island to Island" appears on our logo.

The Newfoundland Flag is situated on the East side of the logo, with the Nfld. Floral Emblem; The Pitcher Plant, beneath it.

The British Columbia Flag is situated on the West side of the logo, with the BC Floral Emblem; The Dogwood Flower, beneath it.

The "V" formation of the flagstaffs stand for "Victoria", our beautiful adopted city; and home of "The NFLD Club of Victoria" which is printed underneath.

The logo was chosen in 1992 and I am honored to see it on our T-shirts, Newsletters and just about anywhere our members wander. It will also be available on lapel pins in the future.
